We're looking forTrade Qualified Mechanical Fittersto join a well-known heavy engineering company based in Pinkenba.
This is a great chance to work on the assembly and reconditioning of industrial gearboxes used in mining and other large-scale industries.

What's on offer
$***** p/h Day shift 5:30am – 2:00pm
Clean, organised, and safety-focused workshop

About the role
Assemble and recondition heavy‐duty gearboxes
Follow detailed instructions and engineering drawings
Use precision tools like torque wrenches and micrometers
Maintain correct alignments, tolerances, and oil sealing
Work as part of a small, supportive team
Keep your work area clean and safe
What you'll need
Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Turning)
Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
Forklift ticketESSENTIAL
Experience operating overhead cranes safely
Dogger or rigger licence(preferred)
Able to work safely and follow procedures
Have experience with measuring using micrometer.
Have some experience with stripping of components and assessing.
Reliable transport to get to site on time
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Working Rights – Must have full working rights and reside in Australia
