Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not-for-profit organisation improving the lives of thousands of older people in need.
HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Western Sydney Region on a Permanent Part time basis.
The successful applicant can work Monday to Friday from 7am start to versatile end time or 2pm start to finish time 8 pm.
Areas we currently need to cover are Wentworthville, Granville, Winston Hills, Dural, Parramatta, and surrounding suburbs.
The successful applicant should be comfortable to travel upto 25 to 30 km's.
Responsibilities
Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
Assisting with medication
About you
Being female is recognised as a genuine occupation qualification and is authorised under section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act ****, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
Valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance) and comfortable driving around your local area
Flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
Ideal: Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
Experience in aged or community care, or interest in starting a career in aged care
Willing to obtain required qualifications (we can help if not currently qualified)
Benefits
Salary: $***** to $***** per hour plus 99c/km plus paid travel time




Mobile phone provided; full training to all care workers (no experience required)
Salary packaging for part-time employees: up to $15,900 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for entertainment per year
