Auctus Training and Education is aprogressive, fast-growing RTObased in South Australia committed to providing quality training to the Aged Care /Disability sector.
We require an experienced industry candidate who is passionate about making a difference in the Community support sector.
Due to increased demand for our courses, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Trainer / Assessor who has the flexibility to train and assess (day and night course delivery options) on a casual or full-time basis.
CHC***** - Certificate III in Individual Support ( Disability and Aged care )
Tasks & responsibilities
Provide training that engages and supports the student to progress through their course so that they successfully complete the training
Assist and address the varied learning needs of each student, including language, literacy and numeracy
Provide relevant feedback to students and arrange for remedial action to be taken
Completion of training and assessment, as well as entering records, within specified timelines regarding training results
Adhere to Auctus' policies and procedures
Candidate qualities for the role
Essential
At least 2 years experience working in the aged care disability sector
Commitment to client-focused service.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks,



work to tight timelines and make informed decisions with limited supervision.
Skilled in Office Suite programs and the ability to learn using our student management systems.
Work independently and have sound organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible with people with the ability to build strong connections
Undergo a criminal history check, be able to complete a Working with Children check, and hold a current driver's licence.
Available to train evening classes.
A current TAE qualification (TAE***** or TAE***** ) or currently enrolled and due to be completed soon.
Desirable
An appropriate qualification ( CHC***** Certificate III in Individual Support or greater )
