About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-orientedHV Electrical Estimatorto join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely estimates forhigh-voltage construction projectsacross Queensland.
You will play a key role in supporting Asset Power Solutions continued success by delivering cost-effective solutions, maintaining robust client relationships, and ensuring seamless handovers to our project delivery teams.
The size of the project you will be estimating on from $10,000 to $10 million dollars.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and analyseengineering drawings, project specifications, and tender documentation.
Prepare detailedcost estimatesfor HV construction projects, including materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor costs.
Issue and manageRFQs, negotiate with suppliers, and identifycost-saving opportunities.
Attendsite inspectionsand pre-tender meetings to assess project scope and risk.




Prepare and submittender documentation and proposalswithin required deadlines and company standards.
Maintain and updateunit pricing databases and estimating tools.
Collaborate closely withoperations and clientsto clarify scope and deliver complete project handovers.
About You
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, ideally within LV, MV or HV construction project environments.
Are you a LV estimator looking to make the move into HV estimating.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in estimating and CRM software (e.g. Simpro) preferred.
A proactive, solutions focused attitude and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
