Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to help clients enhance their communication abilities. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for the clients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
Develop personalized therapy plans to address individual client needs and goals.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' communication skills.
Collaborate with families, caregivers,
and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and techniques.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with industry standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in speech pathology.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate approach with a strong focus on client‐centered care.
Proficiency in relevant assessment and therapy tools.
Augmentative and alternative communication experience is an advantage, but training can be provided.
Benefits
Competitive salary package: $85,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
