We're seeking an experienced
Senior Registered Nurse
to join our team as a
Nurse Team Leader
. This is a full-time leadership prospect for someone who is passionate about deliveringexceptional patient care while mentoring and developing a high-performing nursing team.
Working within a growing
telehealth and medicinal cannabis
environment, you'll combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership, coaching and operational coordination. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee day-to-day nursing operations, support continuous improvement initiatives andensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Coordinate rostering, shift coverage and workload allocation.
Act as the primary contact for nurses requiring clinical or operational guidance.
Monitor compliance with AHPRA standards, privacy requirements, company policies and telehealth guidelines.
Support the onboarding, induction and ongoing training of nurses.
Manage patient, clinical and workflow escalations in collaboration with senior clinical leaders.
Review nursing documentation and workflows to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the development and review of nursing protocols, procedures and processes.
Oversee patient communications and follow-ups to ensure they are timely, clear and professional.
Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to support service delivery and broader business objectives.
Remain informed about regulatory changes, industry best practice and developments in telehealth nursing.
Undertake other reasonable duties that support the efficient operation of the service.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum five years' post-registration experience.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising nursing staff.
Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
High level of computer literacy and experience using electronic medical records.
Experience in telehealth, virtual care or digital health services.
Knowledge of, or experience in, medicinal cannabis prescribing pathways, patient care and regulatory requirements.
Experience working in specialty healthcare or chronic disease management.
Experience with clinical governance, accreditation and quality improvement.
