About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven Marketing Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to turn data into actionable insights that improve campaign performance, student engagement, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with the wider marketing team and with insights specialists across UNSW College, you'll play a key role in strengthening a data-driven marketing culture and facilitating research projects for the marketing team while supporting major transformation initiatives across CRM, CDP, and digital experience platforms.
Your day to day will consist of:
Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting, to measure performance across digital, CRM, website, lead generation, and conversion channels.
Analyse marketing, campaign, and research data to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decisions, and optimise performance.
Partner with stakeholders to translate complex data into clear recommendations and foster a data-driven culture through governance, documentation, and process improvement.
Ensure data quality and consistency while supporting CRM, CDP, DXP, and cross-functional reporting initiatives with Finance and other teams.
Conduct and coordinate market research, competitor analysis, and insights projects to inform marketing and product strategy.
Collaborate with academic and professional teams to achieve organisational objectives.

What makes you perfect for the role?
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Experience in marketing analytics, performance reporting, and digital insights, with proficiency in Power BI (or similar), Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to query, validate, and interpret large datasets using SQL and/or Python.
Ability to consolidate complex data into clear, actionable insights while ensuring data quality, governance, and reporting integrity.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strong attention to detail.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
