ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable
Branch Manager | Depot Manager
to lead our transport operations for the commercial and Mining waste collections out of
Mt Isa
.

We're looking for a strong people leader to oversee a busy transport depot servicing local councils alongside commercial and mining customers. This is a fantastic chance for someone looking to step into a broader site leadership role while remaining closely involved in the day‐to day operation.
You'll bring urgency, confidence and a people‐first mindset. You'll lead by example, support your team on the ground and drive a strong safety, compliance and customer service culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the operations team across a busy depot servicing local council, mining and commercial customers
The ability to plan for growth, engage with the team and see it through




Deliver the overall operations strategy and drive ongoing improvement initiatives
Drive a high-level safety, compliance and customer service culture
Support and motivate a team of approximately 20+ employees
Work well with other leaders within the business including workshop, administration and corporate head office
Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements
Remain actively involved in the day‐to‐day operations and lead by example

Previous leadership experience within transport, logistics or a similar operational environment
Hold a current
HR licence,
(HC or MC highly regarded)

Be an approachable, authentic, supportive and empathetic leader
Continuous improvement focused; with the ability to deliver short and long term
KPI focused with the ability to perform under pressure
