in our
Ipswich
Personal Injury team, that commitment begins with you. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged while building meaningful relationships with clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. This role is primarily based in our Ipswich office, with occasional travel to our Springfield Lakes office for client appointments. We also consider candidates seeking a minimum of three days per week.
Responsibilities
Working closely with Special Counsel and a Senior Associate across a range of Personal Injury matters, contributing to positive outcomes for clients.
Assisting with the progression of matters from initial investigation through to resolution, while developing technical expertise and practical legal skills.
Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy and effective expectation management.
Preparing legal documentation and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Contributing to case strategy,
liability assessments and quantum investigations to help achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Contributing positively to the team environment and providing support to junior colleagues where appropriate.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
Pre‐ or post‐admission experience in personal injury law (e.g., workers' compensation and/or transport accident matters, or similar).
Passion for social justice and a thirst for knowledge in the plaintiff law space.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Dedication to delivering exceptional client service, with an emphasis on helping people when they need it most.
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines within a fast‐paced setting.
