Position Overview
headspace Hawkesbury is seeking highly motivated Private Practitioners for an immediate start to provide Medicare‐funded clinical services to young people aged ***** years.
This highly adaptable opportunity can be tailored around practitioner availability, offering anywhere from 1 to 5 days per week.
Practitioners will work autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team while delivering evidence‐based, high‐quality care to young people experiencing mental health challenges.
Private Practitioners undertake assessments, treatment planning, and evidence‐based psychological interventions and are highly valued members of the broader clinical team.
Essential Criteria
Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist or a General Psychologist through AHPRA;
Mental Health Accredited Social Worker through AASW;
Better Access Endorsed Occupational Therapist through OTA;
Eligibility to provide services under Medicare;




Commitment to achieving therapeutic goals using effective evidence‐based treatment strategies;
Previous experience in delivering psychological interventions;
A flexible and solutions‐focused approach to practice;
Have an ABN or be able to obtain one and appropriate insurances;
Relevant criminal history checks.
