I'm Jarvis, and I'm in the 3-Year-Old Kinder Room at FiRST Early Learning.
I have a very important job today...
I'm helping find our next Assistant Centre Manager!
Now, before you think this job is all paperwork and meetings, let me tell you what it's really like.
You'll get to watch children discover worms in the garden like they've found buried treasure.
You'll hear belly laughs every day.
You'll become an expert at finding dinosaurs, princesses, trucks, fairy wands and missing shoes.
You'll probably be offered lots of pretend cups of tea... and you should definitely say yes.
At FiRST Early Learning, our teachers are our superheroes.
They help us grow, learn, explore and believe we can do amazing things.
And now, we need another superhero to help lead them and work alongside our Centre Manager.
We're looking for someone who can support our incredible educators, inspire confidence, jump in when needed, celebrate the little wins, solve the occasional mystery (like... where did everyone's hats disappear to?) and help make our centre an even more amazing place to learn and work.
You'll fit right in if you:
Love children and believe learning should be full of wonder.
Enjoy mentoring and supporting educators to be their very best.
Can juggle lots of things at once (bonus points if you've ever balanced a clipboard while tying a shoelace!).
Believe relationships always come before routines.




Love sharing ideas and creating exciting learning experiences.
Bring positivity, kindness and a great sense of humour to your day.
You'll also need:
Diploma or Bachelor qualification (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
Current Working with Children Check.
Leadership experience in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
A willingness to embrace our Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy.
Great communication skills and a genuine love for supporting children, families and educators.
