This seasonal position follows a continuous rotating shift roster, which includes weekends and occasional overtime.
Your Role in Action
Pulling rakes of cane bins onto the full bin creeper to maintain a constant, unbroken supply of bins.
Keeping the work area and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
Provision of assistance in cleaning mill chokes and other duties during stoppages or as specified by the Shift Supervisor.
Demonstrate awareness of general quality control standards.
Assist tradesmen in the maintenance and repair of mill equipment and machinery if required.

Our ideal candidate will have a "can do" attitude with a commitment to a safe working setting. You will be able to communicate effectively, including using the mill radio systems, and have a willingness to undergo further training if required.
