Great Opportunity for Industrial Electricians to Step into Oil & Gas. Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team supporting and working on one of our drilling rigs. About The Role
As the Rig Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations on a drilling rig. Your work will include:
Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems
Assisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairs
Troubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipment
Working closely with supervisors, rig crews, and maintenance teams
Ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
Contributing to a high-performing team environment

About You, We'd love to hear from you if you have:
A current Electrical Trade Qualification
Industrial or heavy industry experience (oil & gas advantageous)




Experience with PLC systems, fault-finding, and maintenance
Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure
Ability to use computer systems for reporting and maintenance tracking
A valid Open Manual Driver's Licence A commitment to working safely in a high-risk environment
