LSH Auto Australia is excited to offer the opportunity for a motivated
Accountant
to join our team based at our Kings Way dealership in South Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Manager - Accounting and Finance, the successful applicant with be responsible for:
Preparation and analysis of month end reporting, management accounts and manufacturer reporting to ensure deadlines are achieved
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with accounting standards and company policies
Accounts payable/receivable and administration support/backup when required
Assisting dealership staff daily with queries to ensure and instill a 'right first time'
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting data as required by the Manager, Accounting and Finance.
Being investigative into the transactions of the dealership, ensuring that any issues are addressed in a timely fashion with follow-ups as necessary.
Liaising with internal and external auditors as required ensuring the integrity of the financial statements.
Assist Manager, Accounting and Finance on day-to-day operations of accounts/administration department
About you
A minimum 3 years Accounting experience working within a similar environment;
Extensive financial accounting working knowledge;
Motor Vehicle dealership and Pentana experience is highly regarded;




Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
University degree qualified in Accounting / Commerce; and
Professionally CA/ CPA qualification (or working towards the qualification).
High accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environment
Positive "can-do" attitude and ability to enjoy working in a team environment
High level of professionalism and communication skills
