7 hour shifts working 5 days per week.
The centre is open between 8am and 5pm so the shifts will vary between these times. You must be available to work the rotating shifts.
About The Opportunity
Uniting Susanna Early Learning supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children aged 2 to 5 years. Our Service has a strong focus on inclusion and support for children with additional needs.
This role requires a flexible, motivated and sensitive nurturing qualified who is eager to work collaboratively within the team to support inclusion of all children and their families/carers.
Our service offers a home-like, family atmosphere with bright and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments that are designed to engage and inspire.

What You'll Be Doing In This Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you'll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!
Your Care Work May Include
Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
Facilitating play‐based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities.




Carry daily duties of set up and pack up as well as maintain cleanliness of the room.
Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Who We're Looking For
Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum.
Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
Strong understanding of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting.
Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities desirable but not essential.
You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
