The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive Desktop Specialist to deliver hands‐on support for both our Sydney corporate office and Rosehill manufacturing plant.
You'll ensure employees have reliable access to desktop, laptop and operational technology systems, working closely with local operations and global IT teams to maintain stability and minimise downtime. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a manufacturing setting and enjoys solving day‐to‐day technical challenges.
What You'll Do
Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and plant‐floor devices such as HMIs and SCADA terminals
Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues to keep operations running
Manage and resolve incidents through ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation
Maintain user accounts, permissions and profiles in Active Directory
Provide onsite support for AV devices to maintain the configuration across all sites
Apply patches, updates and security configurations across IT and OT environments
Assist with system upgrades, hardware refreshes and technology rollout projects
Maintain accurate asset and incident records
Work collaboratively with site operations and global IT colleagues
What you'll bring




Diploma or degree in IT (or equivalent experience) with relevant certifications preferred
Minimum 3 years' experience in desktop support or IT operations, ideally in manufacturing
Strong troubleshooting capability across hardware, software and networks
Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Intune/SCCM and foundational networking
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Customer‐focused mindset and excellent communication skills
Exposure to Operational Technology systems (SCADA/HMIs/PLCs) beneficial
