Liftrite Hire and Sales is part of Manitou Group, a world leader in off-road material handling, access platforms, and earthmoving equipment. Manitou Group designs, manufactures, distributes, and services equipment across the construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors. Operating locally out of Canning Vale, Liftrite provides sales, hiring, and after-sales service support for our extensive customer base and dedicated hire fleet, specializing in Manitou and Kobelco equipment.
About the Role
We have exciting opportunities for qualified Fitters to join our busy service department in Canning Vale. In this role, you will enjoy a great work-life balance, be home every night, weekend, and public holiday!
Key Responsibilities
Perform installations, scheduled maintenance, and repairs on Manitou and Kobelco equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Determine required parts for repairs and complete accurate, timely service reports detailing work performed.
Maintain a clean, safe,



and organized workshop area. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
We Are Looking For
Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g., Heavy Commercial / Plant Mechanic, Fitter).
Minimum 3-5 years of post-trade experience.
Strong experience in fault-finding, diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a collaborative team.
Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and policy compliance.
High Risk
Work Licence - LF (Forklift) and WP (Boom-type Elevating Work Platform) classes are highly advantageous, but not essential.

Great Hours: 38 hours per week with occasional overtime and an early finish every Friday.
Competitive Salary: $96,500 per year + Super.
