Are you a hands‐on Ecommerce Manager who loves optimising websites, improving customer journeys and driving online growth?
Do you thrive in Shopify, enjoy solving problems and want to own the performance of an e‐commerce channel?
Full‐time, on‐site role based in Perth.
Our client is an established furniture and homewares retailer with a strong retail footprint and a growing direct‐to‐consumer online business. They are investing heavily in their digital capability and are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of the day‐to‐day performance of their online channel.
This is a practitioner role, not a coordinator role. Working closely with the Ecommerce & Digital Lead, you'll own the website, product catalogue, customer experience and the systems that keep the online business performing. From Shopify merchandising and SEO through to CRM, reporting and integrations, you'll play a key role in delivering commercial growth while helping build the digital infrastructure for the future.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Own day‐to‐day performance of the Shopify website, monitoring conversion, traffic and customer experience
Manage Shopify merchandising including product templates, collections, navigation, metafields and product discovery
Own product catalogue quality including imagery, SEO metadata, tagging, dimensions, pricing and availability
Lead SEO initiatives across the website, monitoring technical SEO, Google Search Console and organic performance
Manage POS and inventory integrations, ensuring stock accuracy and seamless customer experience
Own checkout optimisation including shipping, payment methods and fulfilment settings
Manage CRM and lifecycle marketing through Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation and customer retention
Work closely with development partners to prioritise website improvements and CRO initiatives
Monitor website performance through GA4, Shopify Analytics and reporting dashboards
Manage one direct report while coordinating with agencies and external technology partners
Your Experience:
5+ years' experience in an Ecommerce Manager or similar hands‐on ecommerce role
Strong Shopify experience with a deep understanding of merchandising, themes, apps and product architecture
Experience within furniture, homewares, retail or other high‐consideration consumer brands
Strong knowledge of SEO, technical SEO and website optimisation
Experience managing large product catalogues and maintaining high‐quality product data
Strong analytical capability across GA4, Shopify Analytics and Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with omnichannel retail and POS integrations
Experience with Klaviyo, Google Merchant Centre and AI tools highly regarded
Commercially minded with solid problem‐solving skills and a proactive approach to improving performance
Ways of Working:
Based on‐site in Bibra Lake, Perth
Report to the General Manager with day‐to‐day direction from the Ecommerce & Digital Lead
Manage one direct report while working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies and development partners
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ecommerce professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving measurable commercial outcomes and helping shape the future of a growing omnichannel retail business.
