20 Textile and Footwear Production Machine Operators are required starting September **** across properties in and around the Hemmant, QLD region.
Positions available are Casual. Workers must be available to work 5-7 days per week. Hours of work will vary daily with the demands, averaging a minimum of 30 hours per week. This work will include grading and packing preserved cattle hides, trimming cattle hides and knife skills. Wages will be under the Storage services and wholesale Award **** and paid at the Level 1 casual award rate ($***** per hour). Workers must be available for the full duration. You will need reliable transport. It is essential that you are able to work flexible schedule as rosters will vary.
Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.




Availability and ability to stay for the entire duration (6-9 months).
Physical fitness and the ability to work in a physically demanding job.
Your eligibility to work in Australia.
Workers must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
Opportunities to upskill and job-specific training will be offered to acceptable candidates.
