Position Details

Mount Warren Park
is seeking a Full Time Clinical Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-quality clinical care, provide expert guidance to staff and support the Service Manager in operational leadership. With the support of a responsive Central Support Office team, including a Clinical Governance Manager and leads in Clinical Management, Quality and Compliance, you'll champion best-practice nursing care while fostering a strong, capable clinical team.
Responsibilities
As the Clinical Manager you'll combine hands‐on clinical leadership with strong operational oversight to keep care running seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:
Administration & Financial
Oversee resident documentation, clinical supplies, pharmacy, and stock control within budget
Ensure safe management of medications, controlled drugs, and oxygen supplies
Contribute to cost‐effective planning and high‐quality resident care
Resident Care
Ensure delivery of high‐quality, person‐centred care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards
Oversee accurate clinical documentation and care planning
Support resident assessments, admissions, and ongoing care reviews
Encourage resident and family involvement in care decisions
Ensure compliance with the Charter of Aged Care Rights
Staff Management & Leadership
Lead recruitment, rostering, performance management, and staff development
Promote a positive culture of learning, teamwork, and qualified accountability
Ensure nursing staff are appropriately qualified, competent, and supported
Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing education in collaboration with HR
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Lead clinical meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage clinical indicators, mandatory quality reporting, and corrective actions
Oversee psychotropic management and quality data submissions
Infection Control
Ensure best‐practice infection prevention and control standards are met
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring a blend of clinical knowledge, leadership, and a passion for clinical excellence.
You'll Need
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years' senior nursing / clinical management experience in Residential Aged Care
Strong knowledge of and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
Working knowledge of AN‐ACC and Quality Assurance Programs
Experience with staff recruitment, onboarding, rostering, performance management and team development
Proven ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate across management, staff, residents,
families, medical officers, and allied health professionals
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and proactive problem‐solving skills
Current National Police Check & Drivers Licence
You'll Stand Out If You Have
Gerontology Certificate or Diploma (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working closely with Clinical Governance and Quality teams
Knowledge of AutumnCare software (highly regarded)
