Job Description
Australian Military Bank is looking for a Regional Community Relationship Manager to strengthen our relationships with RSL and Legacy organisations, Defence contractors, charity partners and other community organisations connected to our bonded market.
This is a broad, hands on role that combines partnership management, business development, community engagement, event coordination and leadership. You'll work closely with our regional distribution network and Marketing team to turn community partnerships into practical activities that support our members, communities and strategic objectives., You will take the lead in supporting the RSL Money brand and managing day to day relationships with RSL and Legacy State bodies and Sub -Branches. You'll also help our regional teams identify and develop local partnerships, sponsorships and market opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing relationships with RSL and Legacy State bodies and Sub- Branches
Supporting the day to day relationship with RSL Australia under the RSL Money brand
Educating RSL and Legacy partners about RSL Money and supporting growth of the deposit portfolio
Coordinating the Bank's involvement in community events including ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day commemorations
Working with Regional Managers and Marketing to plan and activate local events and sponsorships
Representing Australian Military Bank at corporate and community events
Supporting the delivery of financial literacy programs and volunteering activities
Identifying and building relationships with Defence contractors and other community organisations
Supporting the development and promotion of relevant customer value propositions
Managing the Distribution team's sponsorship and marketing budget
Reviewing local sponsorship requests and providing monthly reporting
Tracking community outcomes,



including sponsorship investment and employee volunteer hours
Leading, coaching and developing the Community Support Officer
Championing the Bank's community strategic priority across the Distribution channel, * Purpose driven organisation supporting the Defence Community

About the Candidate
Are you an experienced relationship manager who enjoys building meaningful partnerships and creating positive outcomes for local communities?,



You are a confident and authentic relationship builder who can work effectively with community organisations, internal stakeholders and senior leaders. You are equally comfortable developing new opportunities, coordinating events, managing budgets and reporting on outcomes., * At least two years' experience in community partnerships, relationship management, business development or a similar role
Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated business development and partnership management capability
Experience coordinating community activities, events or sponsorships
The ability to manage budgets, reporting and multiple priorities
Lead, coach and develop the Community Support Officer to build their skills and capability
Tier 2 Financial Services accreditation
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
Knowledge of the Australian Defence Force, Defence community or not for profit sector would be highly regarded
