Network Engineer We are partnering with a leading technology services organisation seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a new corporate office network deployment within a secure Defence environment.The role will be responsible for implementing network infrastructure, access control and wireless services using Cisco switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Identity Services Engine and Palo Alto firewalls. The existing Aruba ClearPass and Aruba Wireless setting will be used as a reference architecture to maintain consistent authentication, security policies and user experience across both locations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview the existing Aruba ClearPass and Aruba Wireless environmentAnalyse wireless networks, authentication methods, user roles and device onboarding processesConfigure and deploy Cisco Identity Services Engine for authentication, authorisation and network access controlConfigure and deploy Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and access pointsConfigure Cisco wireless networks and security policiesConfigure Cisco Catalyst switching infrastructureDeploy Palo Alto firewall policies and supporting network servicesImplement *****X, RADIUS, TACACS+, NAC and role-based access controlsTest and validate wired, wireless and network access control servicesProduce implementation plans,



configuration records and as-built documentationProvide knowledge transfer and operational handover to internal ICT teamsEssential ExperienceMinimum five years' enterprise network engineering experienceStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switchingStrong experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and wireless networksStrong experience configuring and deploying Cisco ISEStrong Palo Alto firewall and Strata Cloud Manager experienceExperience with *****X, RADIUS, TACACS+, NAC, network segmentation and role-based access controlExperience reviewing existing architectures and implementing equivalent solutions using alternative technologiesStrong technical documentation and implementation planning capabilityDesirable ExperienceCCNP Enterprise certificationPCNSE certificationExperience with Aruba ClearPassExperience with Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers and access pointsExperience with Azure and Azure networkingExperience designing or deploying Cisco ISE based on existing ClearPass policies and workflowsExperience within Defence, Government or critical infrastructure environmentsContract DetailsBased primarily in Adelaide City, with possible travel to OsborneMust have NV1 security clearanceCandidates with a minimum NV1 considered
