Position Overview
Registered Nurse – Scrub/Scout at Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD. Employment Term: permanent full‐time, part‐time or casual opportunities available. Pay $***** – $***** per hour with super and NFP salary packaging.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients undergoing a range of procedures.
Deliver person‐centred care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary theatre team.
Apply best clinical practice, maintain a safe environment, and optimise patient outcomes.
Adapt to a busy, clinically complex environment and be flexible to work all shifts.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years post‐graduate experience as a Scrub Scout.
Orthopaedic experience.
Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent.
Current AHPRA practising certificate as a Registered Nurse.
Adaptability and resilience in a busy, clinically complex environment.
Commitment toward the mission of UnitingCare Hospitals and the goals of the Nursing Division.
Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations, national criminal history check and functional assessment.
