Clerks@Gadens
Clerks@Gadens is our primary pathway for attracting and developing future graduate talent. We recognise that law students and graduates are the future of both our firm and the broader legal profession, and this program is designed to provide meaningful insight into life at Gadens.
During the program, clerks will have the opportunity to get to know our people, clients and practice areas through a range of hands-on work and experiences. From day one, you will be exposed to challenging, varied work and entrusted with a high level of responsibility.
The program includes one four-week rotation within a single practice area, allowing you to gain focused, hands-on experience in that team.
Our practice areas include:
Banking and Finance
Corporate (including Tax Advisory)
Disputes and Investigations
Intellectual Property and Technology
Real Estate and Construction
Workplace Advisory and Disputes
You will also benefit from practical, on-the-job training and direct access to partners and senior lawyers, helping you build a strong and transferable skillset.
Training and Development
We are committed to supporting your growth throughout the program. Each clerk is partnered with a dedicated mentor who will guide your development, allocate work and provide ongoing feedback.
In addition, you will attend a series of training sessions led by partners and senior lawyers, covering both technical and business skills. These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding of the firm, our culture and our commitment to the broader community,
while equipping you to succeed in a commercial legal environment.
