Pool Operations Supervisor (Sydney Olympic Park Authority)
Full‐time position based at Sydney Olympic Park. Salary: $77,136 pa + super + weekend shift penalty rates.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of lifeguards to ensure safe and efficient operation of aquatic facilities.
Develop and enforce operational procedures, schedules and resource allocation.
Monitor the protected use of facilities, promptly identify and mitigate risks.
Maintain compliance with the Centre's Emergency Management Plan.
Foster professional development and performance management of the team.
Qualifications
Effective planning and coordination skills for managing events across various aquatic disciplines.
Strong problem‐solving abilities for operational incidents.
Excellent risk and safety management skills.
Ability to supervise, develop staff and provide constructive feedback.
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using technology to maximise operational efficiencies.
Commitment to delivering high‐quality customer‐focused services and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
Aquatic Technical Operator certificate (SISSS*****) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
Current Pool Lifeguard qualifications recognised in NSW (SISSS*****).
First Aid (HLTAID 011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
Working with Children Check (WWCC). The role requires a check under the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act ****.
Availability to work a shift roster, including weekend work.
