Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced
Facilities Supervisor
to support the delivery of facilities management services across a large, high-profile corporate campus in Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating maintenance activities, managing work orders, supporting financial administration and building positive relationships with both BGIS and client stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates confidently with a wide range of people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance through the CMMS, ensuring work orders are accurately assigned, tracked and completed.
Review invoices, purchase orders, accruals and financial documentation while supporting budgeting and contract administration.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders and maintain accurate contract records.
Build strong working relationships with the client, subcontractors and internal teams to support consistent service delivery.
Monitor contractor performance and assist with compliance across BGIS systems, contract requirements and HSEQ processes.
Maintain accurate documentation within SharePoint and other business systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture through open communication and knowledge sharing.
Education, Experience & Skills
Experience within facilities management, property management or a similar building services environment.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience working with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Sound financial administration skills, including invoice processing, purchase orders and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a close-knit team.
High School Certificate or equivalent.
Desirable
Experience coordinating subcontractors and service providers.
Knowledge of building services, maintenance operations or contract administration.
Qualifications in Facilities Management,
Property, Building Services or a related discipline.
Understanding of OH&S;, QA or compliance systems.
