Graduate Engineer

About the Role
Based in Western Sydney (Rydalemere) and reporting to the Installation Manager, this newly created role will see you take responsibility for project‐managing minor works from design stage to completion for existing clients and new opportunities. These projects will include system design, installations, upgrades, and commissioning of all fire protection equipment.
Responsibilities
Assist the Engineering team in developing mechanical fire suppression designs via CAD and Hyena.
Develop and manage deliverables for water and special hazards suppression system installation projects.
Assist in the execution of project commissioning with system engineers and the technical team.
Develop and prepare commissioning documentation, Final As Installed plans, and Operation and Maintenance manuals.
Qualifications
You will be self‐motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment,



possess the curiosity and desire to acquire information to solve issues, and ideally have experience in the fire or a similar industry. Additionally, you should meet the following requirements:
Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design.
Computer‐Aided Design (CAD) – drafting skills with AutoCAD proficiency.
Understanding of hydraulic systems and CAD drawings for mechanical piped systems.
Ability to learn the project lifecycle and assist the project managers.
Ability to learn the quote process and assist the estimators.
Experience organising jobs appropriate for the workforce based on backlog, urgency, financial requirements, and customer needs.
Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory).
Willingness to travel as required across New South Wales.
