The Role
Join Cockburn Cement as an Account Manager and play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the WA cement market.
Reporting to the Manager – Sales West, this role will see you manage key customer accounts, support commercial negotiations and work closely with operational teams to ensure safe, reliable and profitable delivery outcomes. You will act as the key link between customers and internal stakeholders, helping deliver exceptional service while supporting sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow key customer accounts across the cement and construction materials sectors
Identify and secure recent business opportunities across the WA market
Build strong, long-term customer relationships through regular engagement and site visits
Prepare tenders, submissions, proposals and customer solutions
Work closely with operations to ensure reliable product supply and service delivery
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing movements
Support pricing strategies, forecasting, sales planning and pipeline management
Provide technical and commercial support relating to cement products
Promote safety, compliance, Chain of Responsibility and sustainability standards
About You
You are a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering practical solutions. You will bring a proactive approach,



strong negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively across sales, operations and customer teams.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience in account management, sales or business development
Background in cement, concrete, construction materials, industrial or mining sectors
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
Intermediate Microsoft Office and CRM system capability
Current Australian driver's licence
