What you'll do
You will join the Mechanical Maintenance team at Eraring Power Station with Origin Energy to complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade over four years. Your duties will include:
Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment.
Working on turbines, pumps, motors, conveyors, coal feeders, ash handling equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Assisting with maintenance activities on chemical plant systems.
Completing manual and electronic maintenance records.
Working in both workshop and site environments across various plant areas.
Following strict safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Show initiative and a strong work ethic.
Work effectively within a team environment.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
Have basic computer skills.
Take pride in developing their trade skills across a variety of mechanical equipment.
Must-haves
Current drivers licence (provisional or above), or close to obtaining.
White Card
Willingness to obtain a National Criminal Check
Willingness to undergo a full pre-employment medical, including a functional capacity assessment, audiometry, spirometry and drug and alcohol screening
