Specialist in Psychiatry (Temporary)
Location: Southern NSW, NSW
Duration: 25 May ********* August ****
Compensation: $2,600 per day
Shift: 08:*****:00, Monday–Friday (no public holidays). On‐call: Yes, 1:2 weeknight and weekend on calls.
Responsibilities
Provide acute, multidisciplinary treatment to patients presenting with acute mental health issues that cannot be treated in the community.
Manage a 24‐bed locked adult inpatient unit with an additional 3 intensive care area (ICA) beds.
Work within a team comprising 2 consultants and 4 registrars.
Contribute to a cross‐border service; as required, consultants may be rostered across all mental health service sites.
Qualifications
RANZCP supervisor certification required.
ECT certification required.
