Emergency Medicine CMO | Base Hospital ED | Northern NSW The Opportunity We are currently speaking with Career Medical Officers interested in joining a regional base hospital emergency department within Northern NSW.
This is a strong option for doctors seeking a broad emergency medicine role with meaningful autonomy, consistent clinical variety and exposure across both emergency and inpatient support functions.
The hospital operates a 24-hour emergency department and forms part of the Northern NSW Local Health District referral network.
The role is well suited to PGY5+ doctors, career emergency CMOs and international doctors with solid acute care experience who are looking for a regional service environment with hands-on responsibility and consultant-supported practice.

The Hospital This regional base hospital provides comprehensive acute services within Northern NSW and is currently the focus of a major NSW Government redevelopment program.
The redevelopment includes a new three-storey building, an expanded Emergency Department, Emergency Short Stay, Medical Imaging, MRI, an inpatient unit and an expanded day surgery and operating suite with two additional theatres.
