About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager and based at our Bathurst site, you will drive sales growth across the building construction sector, develop customer relationships and convert project opportunities into long‐term business success.
Working closely with builders, contractors, developers and project stakeholders, you will manage opportunities from early project identification through to project award. This relationship‐driven role relies on building strong customer partnerships within a regional market, maintaining a healthy pipeline and positioning the business to win future work.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors and key decision‐makers.
Identify and track project opportunities from early planning stages through to tender and project award.
Manage a long‐term sales pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
Drive new business development while growing existing customer relationships across your region.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Support the delivery of sales targets, market share growth and business objectives.
Contribute to a high‐performing and collaborative sales culture.

What You Will Bring
Experience working within construction, building materials, industrial products or a related industry.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand customer requirements and deliver practical solutions.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum across multiple projects and stakeholders.
A proactive and self‐driven approach, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
