The Opportunity
As a Manager within our Business Services team, you'll play a key leadership role, managing a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, family groups, high-net-worth individuals and SMSFs.
You'll work closely with our Partners to provide trusted business and taxation advice while mentoring and developing the next generation of accountants. This is a genuine leadership opportunity where you'll have the autonomy to build client relationships, influence outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of our Brisbane practice.
What You'll Be Doing
As a trusted advisor and people leader, you will:
Manage a diverse portfolio of Business Services clients across a broad range of industries.
Review and prepare financial statements, income tax returns and compliance obligations for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs.
Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns, BAS and IAS.
Provide practical taxation and business advisory solutions that help clients achieve their commercial goals.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and become their first point of contact.
Lead, coach and mentor a team of accountants,



supporting their technical and professional development.
Manage workflow, delegate work effectively and ensure quality outcomes are delivered on time.
Work collaboratively with Partners on complex client matters and opportunities for growth.
Participate in networking, training and business development initiatives that strengthen our presence in the Brisbane market.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced leader who combines strong technical capability with excellent people and client management skills.
You'll ideally have:
CA or CPA qualification.
A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
7+ years' experience within Business Services in a public practice accounting firm.
Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance and business advisory.
Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing accounting teams.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, commercial mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
The ability to work independently while collaborating within a high-performing team.
