The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to, and works closely with, an accomplished Chair and highly experienced Board, guiding the strategic leadership and ensuring the effective management of the organisation. The Board seeks a proven executive who will:
ensure sustainable and innovative growth and sector leadership in a diverse range of human services;
maintain high levels of organisational performance in an ever-changing and increasingly complex operating environment;
model UnitingSA's values of respect, compassion, courage and integrity;
lead,



motivate and develop staff to deliver high-quality care and outcomes in a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace;
maintain, strengthen and enhance relationships and partnerships with a wide range of public and private stakeholders;
ensure the highest level of business and clinical governance.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished senior executive with demonstrated capability to lead an organisation through ongoing reform, growth and increasing competition. Experience within the aged care sector will be advantageous; however, candidates with leadership experience in comparably regulated and complex people-focused sectors are also encouraged to apply.
Strategic thinking and execution, contemporary leadership capability, strong financial acumen and highly developed communication and negotiation skills are essential. Equally important qualities are the warmth, empathy, integrity and credibility required to lead UnitingSA through its next phase of growth and evolution.
