About the role
We are inviting applications from People & Culture Advisors who are seeking career progression and a pathway into Business Partnership. This is a full-time position based at our Surry Hills office in NSW with Hybrid arrangements in place for all staff.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of our organisation. If you enjoy optimization across the employee lifecycle, are tech-savvy, can work well in ambiguous settings during periods of change, are looking for a specialized field with an opportunity to transition into a HRBP position - this role is for you.
This role is suited to individuals with a growth mind-set, polished administration and coordination skills, and is able to balance transactional activities with operational matters.
Key responsibilities
HRIS systems administration which includes compliance checking, contracts management, supporting the recruitment process, including job design, advertising, interview coordination and onboarding of new employees.
Optimization across the employee lifecycle through analytical, technological and interpersonal skills across key areas such as talent and future pipelines, hiring methodologies, optimizing recruitment channels, improve all around recruitment experience, productivity, wellbeing, systems optimization and AI adoption.
Assist with employee relations matters, including managing difficult conversations, providing coaching to managers and supporting conflict resolution
Coordinate training and development initiatives, including induction, mandatory training and professional development opportunities
Maintain HR records and documentation,



ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies
Support the delivery of employee engagement activities and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture
Liaise with external providers, including payroll, insurance and training organisations, to ensure seamless service delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience
What we're looking for
Knowledge of employment law, industrial relations and HR best practice in the Australian context
Excellent interpersonal, technological, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated experience in recruitment and selection processes, including interviewing and onboarding
Proficiency in managing HR systems and databases (BambooHR and WorkRamp), with strong IT skills
A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to balance priorities
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
A strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and creating an inclusive workplace culture
Certification or membership with professional HR bodies such as Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) is highly valued
