Health & Safety Advisor
Food Manufacturing | Western Sydney & Multi-Site | Permanent Full-Time
We're partnering with a well-established Australian food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple manufacturing facilities across New South Wales.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group WHS Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering practical health and safety support across manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, coaching leaders, engaging with employees, and ensuring safety systems are embedded into everyday operations.
Regular travel between NSW sites forms part of the role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building relationships across different teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments across multiple manufacturing sites
Support incident investigations, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and WHS training to employees and contractors
Assist in maintaining and improving the company's WHS Management System
Monitor safety performance and prepare reports on key WHS metrics and trends
Partner with operational leaders to promote a proactive safety culture
Develop and review Safe Work Procedures, risk assessments and other safety documentation
Support contractor management,



compliance activities and ongoing legislative requirements
Provide practical coaching and advice on workplace health and safety matters
About You
We're looking for an experienced safety professional who enjoys working closely with operations and building positive relationships across manufacturing environments.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a Health & Safety, WHS or Safety Advisor role within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or another industrial environment
Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience conducting audits, investigations and safety training
Strong reporting and administrative capability
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between NSW sites
