Role Description
The Head of Finance & Ops is a full-time role based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. This role oversees financial management, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to ensure sound financial health and strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing cash flow, overseeing financial reporting cycles, and leading budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also includes optimizing operational processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency,



and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. The Head of Finance & Ops will lead and develop the finance and operations team, provide strategic guidance to senior leadership, and support scalable growth aligned with ReadiNow's business objectives.
Qualifications
Strong finance and accounting foundation, including experience with Finance and Financial Statements.
Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Budgeting, with a track record of managing reporting cycles and planning processes.
Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, modeling scenarios, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Experience in operational management, process improvement, and implementing internal controls.
Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-driven organizations is highly regarded.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
