Ancestry is the UK and Ireland's largest family history website, with over 1 billion UK and Ireland genealogy records available to search. An upcoming project includes the digitisation of collections held by Penrith City Council Library. The first stage of this major project will focus on digitising original documents, taking place on site at Penrith City Council Library; Penrith, NSW.
What you will do
Operate and maintain imaging equipment (training provided)
Quality assure the resulting images
Carry out minor document preparation as required and permitted by the archive

Previous experience in similar project work
General knowledge/appreciation of history or genealogy
General knowledge of photography
Contract: Temporary (project expected to last 8 months) Rate: $28/hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week, excluding meal breaks Start date: 10th of August ****
