A Day in the Life
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Associate Clinical Specialist to join our high-performing Cardiac Rhythm Management team based in Gold Coast, Queensland. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your clinical expertise and technical knowledge to provide exceptional customer support, contribute to business growth, and help deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Working closely with healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in advancing innovative therapies that improve the lives of patients every day. Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. CRM innovations are now important more than ever. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. Reporting to the Service Innovation Manager, the Associate Clinical Specialist will support the growth of our Cardiac Rhythm business in Queensland.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Partnering with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit
Providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations to customers
Conducting on-site education and / or consulting
Assisting Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support
Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team
Participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness
Working closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support
Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff
Identifying and facilitating execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team
Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand in locations
Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team
Required Knowledge and Experience
High School Diploma with minimum of 4 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated experience either in a clinical setting with cardiac pacing devices or cardiac sales is valuable.
Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver's license required.
