Speech Pathologist
Location: Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay Regions. Employment Terms: Permanent, Full Time (Part time considered).
Remuneration: $***** – $***** per hour (dependent on experience) + Super, salary packaging benefits, kilometre reimbursement, and 5 weeks annual leave (pro‐rata).

Responsibilities
Provide individualised, person‐centred speech therapy to elderly clients in community settings.
Proactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up‐to‐date individual care plans.
Maintain open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary health care team.
Refer clients to appropriate health care professionals when necessary.
Liaise compassionately with clients and their families.
Travel between sites (approximately one to two days per fortnight) as required; travel is planned in advance and supported by the team.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology (essential).
Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care.
Graduates encouraged to apply.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships.
Clear understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices.




Current Australian Driver's Licence and a road‐worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance (essential).
Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
