The Risk and Controls Analyst, reporting to the Director Controls & Testing, plays a vital role in supporting business operations as part of the first-line risk and compliance function. This position assists in identifying, documenting, and monitoring operational risks while ensuring compliance processes are effectively implemented across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Risk and Compliance team.
A few of your responsibilities
Identify, document, and assessrisks per the Risk Management Framework and policies
Support control testing to assess risk management effectiveness
Regularly review and update risk registers
Ensure risk assessments for major opportunities and changes are completed
Support risk owners in defining and managing risks
Review and report residual risks, trends, issues, and breaches
Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures
Investigate compliance breaches and incidents; gather data and prepare reports
Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate key risks within the business
What we will be looking for
Experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or regulated industries (preferred, not essential)
Risk Assessment and Controls Testing experience
Solid written and verbal communication for documentation and stakeholder engagement
