The Organisation
Corporate Services group in Brisbane City Council supports, equips, and helps guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.
The Business
Information Services branch (ISB) is responsible for Council's information and communications technology (ICT) strategy, information management and service delivery.
ISB help Council use ICT effectively to improve business functions in the delivery of services to the community. ISB's responsibilities include long-term ICT strategic planning; support to Ward Offices and employee ICT helpline; and management of Council's ICT environment including network infrastructure, computers, key applications, software, and other ICT equipment.
The Role
This role provides coordination, governance and reporting support across a diverse ICT Portfolio of Work. Working closely with the Portfolio Delivery Manager, Program Managers, Project Managers and key stakeholders, you will help drive delivery performance through the coordination of planning activities, governance forums, reporting, financial tracking and health reviews.
You will play a key role in maintaining visibility of priorities, roadmaps, risks, financials and delivery progress across the Productivity and ICT Infrastructure domains. The role will also contribute to the continuous improvement of governance practices, reporting processes and ways of working.
We are looking for an experienced ICT Portfolio Coordinator who is proactive, customer-focused and highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving delivery outcomes and governance.

In this role you will
coordinate portfolio governance forums, showcases, planning sessions and portfolio ceremonies
prepare portfolio, program and domain reporting, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders
analyse project and program information to identify trends, risks, issues and improvement opportunities
support project, program and portfolio health reviews and governance activities
maintain portfolio roadmaps, priorities, financial information, registers and reporting artefacts
support budget monitoring, invoicing, procurement and contract administration activities
partner with the Portfolio Delivery Manager, Program Managers and Project Managers to improve portfolio performance, governance and delivery outcomes
To be successful you will have:
experience supporting project, program, portfolio or PMO functions within a complex ICT environment
strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret delivery, financial and portfolio information and identify trends, risks and opportunities
experience preparing governance reports, dashboards, presentations and management reporting for a variety of stakeholders
experience coordinating governance forums, planning activities, portfolio reporting cycles and health reviews
experience supporting financial management, procurement, invoicing or contract administration activities
highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Highly regarded:
experience using portfolio and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, FIGMA and Microsoft 365 applications
experience working in Agile delivery environments
knowledge of SAFe practices and portfolio management concepts
