About us:The Community Care Unit (CCU) service is part of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) within Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS). The CCU is a 24-hour community residential mental health treatment rehabilitation facility for adults in partnership with a non-government organisation. In the service continuum, the CCU sits between inpatient service provision and intensive recovery-focused rehabilitation community treatment in a consumer's usual place of residence. The CCU service seeks to facilitate interventions that assist consumers to move toward independent living.Our values were developed by our staff, patients and community. We believe that we can improve health outcomes by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of their local health services.About your role:In this position you will.....Provide effective and productive clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the Team Leader to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.Provide leadership to effectively plan,
manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting.
