About the Role
Are you a skilled Plant Mechanic who likes solving problems, working independently and getting home in time to enjoy your own driveway? We're looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join WA Limestone.
You'll be supplied with a fully fitted field service truck, work with quality mobile plant and fixed equipment, and be backed by a practical, safety-focused team that knows a positive mechanic is worth their weight in grease.
Key Responsibilities
Based at our Bibra Lake workshop, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and major rebuilds across a broad range of mobile and fixed plant.



No two days will be exactly the same — which is ideal if you enjoy a challenge and don't mind occasionally reminding a machine who's in charge.
Equipment may include:
Komatsu excavators, including PC300 to PC******
Hitachi excavators, including ZX690 and ZX890
CAT loaders, excavators, trucks and dozers, including 980M, 988H, 320D, 395, 740, 775F, D9 and D11R
Montabert and Atlas Copco drill rigs
Jaw, cone and impact crushers, plus screening plants
About you
You're a capable, reliable and safety-minded Plant Mechanic who takes pride in quality work. You enjoy working independently, contributing to a good team and passing on what you know.
To be successful, you'll have:
An Australian-recognised Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate
Experience working on CAT and Komatsu mining or construction plant
A current manual driver's licence; an HR licence is highly regarded
A strong commitment to safe work practices
A positive attitude, solid work ethic and interest in a long-term career
The ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide range of equipment
Legal working rights in Australia
A willingness to mentor and support apprentice and developing mechanics
