These casual roles will give you the opportunity to work across our Pimlico and Hyde Park campuses.
These positions are scheduled to commence early September ****.You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of areas including surgical, medical, cardiac, orthopeadics, ICU and rehabilitation.You will work under the direct supervision of the clinical team assisting with the care of patients as delegated by your team.
You will consistently deliver a high level of clinical care to patients, demonstrating clinical knowledge and consult with your team to plan, deliver and evaluate patient centered care.
Your scope is in alignment with your knowledge and competency requirements of your university studies.
This role offers exceptional hands‐on experience that complements and enhances your formal studies.Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing, either in your second or third year of study (Documented evidence of completion is mandatory).
Demonstrate flexibility to perform in a variety of clinical areas, adaptability to integrate into different teams and work under different Nurse Unit ManagersBe committed to excellence in nursing practice and professional developmentDemonstrate ability to work well within a multidisciplinary teamPrevious experience in nursing as an AIN (desirable not essential)Mater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
