The unit cares for patients with acute coronary syndromes, rhythm disturbances and heart failure, along with caring for patients' pre and post coronary angiography and pacemaker insertion and other specialist procedures.The Coronary Care Unit cares for patients requiring cardiac monitoring, temporary pacing, inotropic support and non-invasive ventilation.About The RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Grade 2 Registered Nurse with an interest in cardiac care, who is seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity, in a supportive team environment, to become part of the 4 West team.DutiesProvide nursing care for acute cardiac patientsDocument, observe and report relevant nursing findingsLiaise with the patient, the patient's family, medical and multidisciplinary staffManage the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patientSkills,



Experience And QualificationsCompleted Bachelor of Nursing DegreePost Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Cardiac or Critical Care is highly desirable but not essentialCurrent Nursing Registration with AHPRADemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, best practice and safetyMotivated, skilled with exceptional communication and time management skillsAn interest in a career in cardiac nursing and willingness to develop knowledge and skillsWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities.
