Established in ****, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately **** members.
The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities.




The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services.
This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The standard operating hours of the centre are generally ********* Monday – FridayWhat you'lldoProvide a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative servicesWork with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on functional rehabilitation and returning members to their work and exercise goals.Coordinate patient administration, records, and clinic operationsSupport multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service deliveryEnsure compliance with Defence policies, procedures, and confidentiality standardsShapeWhat you bringAt least 2 years' part-time or full-time equivalent post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 yearsA current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRARecent engagement in Continuing Professional Development activities aligned with AHPRA guidelinesA current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (preferred)Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security ClearanceWho we areSerco supports healthcare delivery professionals across the Asia-Pacific region, providing essential services in defence, healthcare, justice and community services.Through our partnership with Bupa, we deliver integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force personnel across multiple Defence health facilities nationwide, ensuring members have access to quality on-site care.
