We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HSSE Advisor to join the K2 Team onsite in Kwinana!
In this role, you will effectively provide senior, site-based Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) leadership and assurance for the K2 Project.Clough is delivering the design and construction of the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 project (K2), a current 220 MW gas fired power station to be built in Kwinana, south of Perth.
K2 will deliver fast start, flexible generation to provide critical backup capacity that supports the increasing application of renewable energy across Western Australia.Who we areWebuild in Australia is comprised of Webuild, Clough and e2o.

These are just a few words that describe you.Your focus will include:Lead day-to-day HSSE delivery across allocated work fronts and provide authoritative advice to construction, commissioning and subcontractor leadershipPlan and lead risk-based inspections, audits and critical-control verifications,



analyse findings and drive timely close-out of corrective actionsProvide senior oversight of permit-to-work, isolation, SIMOPS and high-risk activities, including lifting, working at heights, confined space, energisation and interface work with operating facilitiesFacilitate and challenge hazard studies, CRAWs, SWMS/JHAs and task risk assessments to confirm controls are specific, effective and implemented in the fieldLead or support significant incident and high-potential near-miss investigations, determine underlying causes, develop quality corrective actions and verify learning is embeddedMonitor and interpret HSSE performance trends, prepare accurate reports and recommend targeted improvement actions to project leadershipWhat you will bring to the team:Minimum 8–10 years' progressive HSSE experience, including senior site-based advisory responsibility on major EPC or D&C; projectsDemonstrated experience across construction and commissioning, high-risk work controls, contractor management, incident investigation and regulatory complianceProven ability to influence project leaders, coach HSE personnel and workforces, communicate with clients and operate independently in a complex live-interface environmentDegree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Work Health & Safety,
