You'll help build and secure the cloud platform that underpins our technology, working across infrastructure, automation, security and engineering to make our platforms more reliable, scalable and secure.

About The RoleThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building reliable cloud infrastructure, automating away manual work, and embedding security into contemporary engineering practices.Around half of your time will be spent engineering and improving our cloud platform, with the remainder focused on deployment automation, cloud security operations and identity management.
You'll work closely with our Senior DevOps Technical Lead and Senior Information Security Manager,



giving you the opportunity to deepen your expertise across platform engineering and security while taking increasing ownership of the environment.You'll be improving the systems our engineering teams rely on every day - not simply maintaining them.You'll spend your time:Cloud Platform Engineering (around 50%)Build, automate and improve cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeImprove platform reliability, resilience and observabilityReduce technical debt and eliminate manual operational workMonitor platform health and respond to infrastructure incidentsHelp evolve secure cloud architecture alongside senior engineersSecurity Operations & Compliance (around 20%)Investigate and triage security alertsImprove detection quality and reduce false positivesSupport ISO ***** controls, audit readiness and security operationsWork with engineering teams to remediate security issuesCI/CD & Developer Experience (around 15%)Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliabilityIncrease automation and deployment confidenceStrengthen pipeline security and release processesHelp engineering teams deliver software safely and consistentlyIdentity & Access Management (around 15%)Manage cloud identity and access controlsImprove provisioning and access management processesMaintain secure, repeatable access governanceOur TechnologyYou'll work with technologies including:AWS (with some Azure)Terraform & Terraform CloudGitHub Action (CI/CD)Microsoft Entra IDDatadogDarktraceMicrosoft PurviewInfrastructure as CodeISO *****You'll love this job ifYou enjoy building cloud platforms rather than simply maintaining them.You automate repetitive work whenever you can.You like solving infrastructure problems that improve life for other engineers.You enjoy working across cloud engineering and security rather than specialising in only one area.You're naturally curious and enjoy continuously learning new technologies.You like seeing the direct impact your work has on a growing engineering team.We're looking for someone whoHas experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.Has worked with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.Has experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar.Understands cloud security principles and has exposure to security operations.Has experience with monitoring and observability tooling.Enjoys automation,
