Within the Child, Youth & Family Wellbeing program, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to help people navigate financial challenges and build stronger, more secure futures.Your role, your impactAs a Financial Counsellor, you'll play a vital role in supporting people facing financial hardship, including those impacted by complex life circumstances such as family violence, mental health concerns, and systemic barriers.
Through your expertise, you'll empower individuals with knowledge, advocacy and practical support, helping them make informed decisions and regain control of their financial wellbeing.Deliver holistic financial counselling through comprehensive client intake, assessments and tailored support plansProvide information and options to support informed financial decision‐makingLead casework and advocacy, including negotiation with creditors and financial institutionsDevelop person‐centred case plans considering cultural needs and co‐occurring challengesIdentify and respond to risk,
